The Agave & Me

Hairnet and all. These are the pinas de the agave plant, after the cut off all of the spikes from the plant this is what is left. This is the part that gets cooked in the ovens and the honey water is squeezed from, which is what ferments into tequila. We got to try a bit of each stage of the agave in the process of making tequila.
