There's something about Fountains...

Fountains, fountains everywhere. Guadalajara and all of mexico is full of fountains. There is one in nearly every plaza in town and some where there is nothing at all (other than the street being particularly wider). It is a major part of the culture here. Plazas are meeting places and quite a sight to behold. Fountians are used as a place of gathering (some people even stop to use the water to wash their cars), and as a focal point of the plaza. I love the fountains, many of them are quite old and fancy, like this one, and they brighten up any and every corner of Mexico.
